After scoring a ton in a lost cause in the first T20I, England’s Liam Livingstone has continued his fine form in the second T20I as well. The right-hander smashed Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf for the biggest six of all time. Liam was batting on 28 runs off 20 balls when Rauf came in to bowl his second spell of the game.

Rauf charged in and bowled a full-length delivery right in the slot for Livingstone. Livingstone moved his front leg away and  smashed the ball straight over Rauf’s head for a monstrous six. Even the on-air commentators were left shocked and applauded Livingstone by saying that it was amongst the biggest hits they had ever seen. The six is said to be measured at 121.96 meters, clearly the biggest six recorded as per the record books. Liam got out a couple of deliveries later after scoring 38 off 23 deliveries.

England set a target of 201 for Pakistan in the second T20I

After losing the first T20I, this game is very important for England and a must-win to stay alive in the series. After a dodgy start to the innings and losing two quick wickets of openers Jason Roy and Dawid Malan up front, England’s stand-in skipper Jos Buttler and all-rounder Moeen Ali steadied the ship for the hosts to get them back in the game. The duo put up a strong partnership and England were 136 for 3 after the end of 13 overs. After Jos Buttler got out for 59, England lost a flurry of wickets which slowed the run rate. At one point England looked like getting over 230 but those wickets in the middle didn’t help the hosts and they had to settle for 200 in their 20 overs.
