Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain  Faf du Plessis was part of an embarrassing moment during the RCB's green jersey launch ahead of IPL 2024. The Bengaluru-based franchise will play the season opener against defending champions Chennai Super Kings at the M.A. Chidambaram stadium.

On March 19, RCB had their Unbox event at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru where they serenaded their women's team, who won the WPL 2024; inducted former India cricketer R Vinay Kumar into the team's Hall of Fame and unveiled new jersey for IPL 2024. Then the next day, the Royal Challengers launched the team's Green jersey as part of their initiative to spread environmental awareness.

At this event, while the new jerseys were presented to the audience, a party cracker burst close to him as he hilariously jumped away. Reacting to this moment, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell focused on the funny side and burst into laughter while pointing fingers at Faf du Plessis.

He has also won trophies everywhere: Faf on working with Flower

Speaking at the event, Faf du Plessis shared that he is excited about working with newly appointed head coach Andy Flower. The South African star said,  “Andy Flower is a very experienced coach. Not only at the international level, but he has done a lot of T20 coaching. He has also won trophies everywhere he has gone with different teams.”
