The Japan international, Shoya Nakajima joined Turkish side Antalyaspor from FC Porto earlier this month. The 28-year-old Nakajima made his home debut against  Adana Demirspor on Saturday and received a red card after just two minutes of his appearance for the club while his family watched in disbelief.

On Saturday, Nakajima was brought on in the 59th minute as both the sides were already reduced to 10 men while the home team was trailing 1-0 to  Adana Demirspor. The Japanese winger substituted Houssam Ghacha and entered the field as camera angle was switched to his family, who were watching on proudly.

However, the referee showed a yellow card to Nakajima instantly after a dangerous tackle on the Demirspor right-back Jonas Svensson in just 20 seconds of his arrival. The visitors' players and coach were demanding a red card on the careless tackle which led the referee to review the incident on his pitch-side monitor. The referee, then upgraded his decision and showed a red card to Nakajima leaving his family in disbelief.

Following Nakajima's sent off, Antalyaspor went on to lose the game 3-0 as  Fredrik Gulbrandsen and Britt Assombalonga scored in the final 15 minutes. After joining the club on free transfer, Nakajima made his debut against Kayserispor last week in a 1-0 away loss as he was a late substitute for the visitors.
