While Gill scored an eye-catching 116, Kohli stole the show with his unbeaten 166-run knock in 3rd ODI vs Sri Lanka. However, apart from the batting masterclass, fans witnessed another entertaining incident during the match.

After Virat Kohli launched a straight six over the bowler's head, a fan picked up the ball from behind the side screen, and instead of throwing it back to the ground, he took a picture of it. Virat Kohli, who was ready to face the next delivery, was surprised by the fan's reaction and laughed it off.

Fans also witnessed an unfortunate incident during India's innings. As Kohli pulled a short ball from Chamika Karunaratne for a boundary, two Sri Lanka fielders, Ashen Bhandara and Jeffrey Vandersay, collided while trying to stop the boundary and one of the got injured really badly. Such was the intensity of the collision that Bhandara had to be stretchered off the field.
