On Wednesday, Fenerbahçe defeated Mario Balotelli's Adana Demirspor 4-2 at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium to close the gap to two points from the top-placed Galatasaray. The fourth goal by the home side's forward Serdar Dursun made headlines as the Turkish-German footballer paid tribute to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, by emulating his iconic goal celebration, 'SIUU', but with a twist.

In the Turkish Super Lig, Fenerbahce center-back Alexander Djiku opened the scoring in the 17th minute while Mario Balotelli equalised after just eight minutes. Edin Dzeko, who leads the Turkish Super Lig's top scorers chart with 19 goals, scored the second goal for the home side while Dusan Tadic doubled the lead for the hosts in the 70th minute.

Demirspor forward Yusuf Barasi scored the second goal for his side in the 80th minute, however, the 32-year-old forward Serdar Dursun, who got substituted in the next minute, fired the home side to a two-goal lead in the 85th minute. After scoring the fourth goal for his side, Dursun hit Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo's SIUU, that too four times as he scored the fourth goal for his side.

Serdar Dursun is currently on loan from Fatih Karagumruk and received limited playing time with Fenerbahce due to the spectacular form of Edin Dzeko. In their next clash, Fenerbahce are scheduled to face league-toppers Galatasaray at the Şanlıurfa GAP Stadium on Sunday in the Turkish Super Cup final. Apart from that, the Yellow Canaries will face Olympiacos in the European Conference League quarter-final on Thursday.
