With India touring England for the five-match Test series of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, they trail by 1-2 margin after the fourth Test at the Emirates Old Trafford ended in a draw. With the fourth Test moving into the final day, England looked dominant with their all-round show, but the Indian side bounced back in style, holding their nerves until the final hour.

After a gritty 90 from KL Rahul and a century from skipper Shubman Gill, the all-rounder pair of Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar, played an unbeaten century knocks to settle for a draw with India ending having taken a 114-run lead. But as it all comes down to the final Test, the two teams get ready for one final showdown, set to be played from July 31 at the Kennington Oval in London.

Gautam Gambhir gets into heated fight with Oval groundstaff; gets threatened for his rude behaviour

While the Indian team landed in London on Monday, July 28, they took the field on Tuesday, for their first practice session ahead of the fifth Test. During their training session a bizarre incident came in front where the Indian head coach, Gautam Gambhir was seen lashing out at the chief curator Lee Fortis.

As the visiting side were seen getting ready to resume their practice, Gambhir was involved in a heated exchange as he expressed his unhappiness with facilities provided to the visiting team. The coversation seemed to have escalated, leaving the Indian coach visibly furious. In the videos going viral, Gambhir can be seen shouting at the groundstaff while pointing out, saying, “You can’t tell us what to do!”

Furthermore, Gambhir was threatened by the Oval groundstaff to lodge a complaint, but the former India cricketer remained unfazed as said, “You can do and report to whoever you want, but you can’t tell us what to do.” As things escalated, the duo was separated by Team India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak along with the other members of the support staff.
