After losing their previous game by a whopping 23 points against Washington Wizards on Monday night, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored his career-high 55 points in the NBA regular season to help Milwaukee Bucks beat the Wizards 123-113 on Tuesday night at the Fiserv Forum. With the win, the Bucks snapped the five-game winning streak of the Wizards.

Giannis scored 55 points and 10 rebounds against the Wizards while Brook Lopez registered 21 points and 12 rebounds followed by Bobby Portis' 17 points and 13 rebounds to help the Bucks beat the Wizards by 10 points.

Giannis makes history

The two-time NBA MVP registered  45 points and 22 rebounds against Chicago Bulls on December 28, 43 points and 20 rebounds against Minnesota Timberwolves on December 30 and scored 55 points and 10 rebounds on Tuesday night. With these stats Giannis  joined Moses Malone and Russell Westbrook as the only players since 1976-77 to register 40+ points and 10+ rebounds in three straight games in the NBA.

Currently, the Greek Freak has played 31 matches for the Bucks and is averaging 32.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. Milwaukee are placed third in the Eastern Conference standings with 24 wins in 37 matches so far in the league.  Meanwhile, the Bucks will travel to the Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday night to square off against Toronto Raptors.
