Gujarat Titans star Rashid Khan has been one of the best T20 bowlers in the world for a while now and is an important part of the GT team but his fame didn’t stop him from playing some street cricket with the Indian fans. The Afghanistan star rocked up on the streets of Ahmedabad in shorts and showed his batting skills, which elated the fans.

Rashid Khan is having a decent IPL season so far as the wrist spinner has picked up 15 wickets in nine matches, which puts him fourth in the Purple Cap race. His economy rate has taken a hit this season as 8.56 is way above his economy of 6.6 in the last season. Rashid also conceded 54 in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders without picking any wickets. Despite this, the 24-year-old's wicket-taking output has continued and has put Gujarat Titans in pole position to qualify for the playoffs as they are currently top of the table with 12 points in nine games.

On Thursday, Rashid Khan was spotted in Ahmedabad smashing some balls out of the park. While many gathered to watch the GT all-rounder playing among them, the netizens praised the humble nature of the Afghanistan cricketer.

Hardik Pandya’s men would be disappointed after they lost their last match against Delhi Capitals after picking five wickets in the powerplay. Aman Khan revived the innings and led the Capitals to a total of 130 on a difficult pitch. With the ball moving around, Gujarat Titans lost early wickets and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Hardik Pandya was the lone man standing as scored a slow fifty. Rahul Tewatia brought the Titans to the brink of victory but Ishant Sharma kept his cool and defended 11 in the last over. The defending champions will next face Rajasthan Royals on Friday, May 5 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
