Team India have managed to pull the game back after a brilliant partnership between Iftikhar Ahmed and Shan Masood. The duo were taking the game away from Team India after targeting the spinners. However, Mohammed Shami got rid of the dangerous Iftikhar with a peach of the delivery. Hardik Pandya soon joined the party as he picked 2 wickets in an over.
After picking the wicket of Shadab Khan, Pandya got rid of Haider Ali in the same over and put India back in the front. After picking his second wicket, Hardik Pandya was seen laughing at the batter.

Iftikhar, Masood take Pakistan to 159
Despite losing both the openers early, Pakistan managed to go past 150 courtesy of brilliant fifties from Iftikhar Ahmed and Shan Masood. Iftikhar took the counter attacking approach and scored 51 off 32 deliveries to push Team India. While Shami got rid of Iftikhar, Masood (52*) stayed till the end and gave Pakistan bowlers a defendable total.
