If three words could describe the ongoing 2nd Test match between India and New Zealand, they would be "Entertainment! Entertainment! Entertainment". It isn't really surprising also considering the fact that the match is being played in the city of Bollywood i.e. Mumbai. Just when the fans thought that they had seen everything in this match, everyone witnessed another dramatic incident on Day 3.
Chasing a mammoth target of 540, New Zealand batsmen showed a better application than what was on display during their first innings. However, they were still not too comfortable against the Indian spinners. Ravichandran Ashwin was bowling brilliantly and had already taken 3 vital wickets.
Ashwin denied his 4th wicket of innings
In the 32nd over of the innings, the off-spinner came agonizingly close to pick his and Kiwi's 4th for the day but he was denied by lack of luck. Having troubled Henry Nicholls on a few occasions, Ashwin finally bowled the perfect delivery which went past the outside edge of batsman before just clipping the outside of off stump.
But unfortunately for the spinner, the bails did not get dislodged despite the impact of the stumps. The replays confirmed that the ball had certainly hit it with a clear disturbance on the snickometer when the ball went past the off stump.

Those zing bails are slightly heavier than normal. Normal bails are about 25-30 grams whereas Zing bails weight around 45 grams. That might not seem like a lot but with the battery and everything in them, it takes a little bit more to dislodge them," the on-air commentators explained the reason behind the incident.
