Suresh Raina is having a great time while representing India Legends in the second edition of the Road Safety World Series 2022. The 35-year-old has recently announced retirement from all forms of competitive cricket and making his debut in the Road Safety World Series tournament.

Meanwhile, Raina rolled back the years on September 28 (Wednesday) evening as he was once again at his athletic best during the first semifinal match between India Legends and Australia Legends at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, in Raipur.

Raina's brilliant effort was evident during the 16th over of the Australian innings as he literally flew in the air to dismiss Australian batter Ben Dunk. When India Legends' bowler Abhimanyu Mithun kept it a bit wide from the batter as he guided the ball towards the point when Raina jumped and grabbed one of the best catches of the tournament.

Suresh Raina's exceptional catch turn the game on its head as Dunk was smashing Indian bowlers and had scored 46 runs off 26 deliveries and was looking in good touch. When Ben Dunk got dismissed, Australia Legends had reached 131/5 in 15.6 overs.

Shane Watson (30 off 21), Alex Doolan (35 off 31), Ben Dunk (46 off 26) had made valuable contributions in the game so far.  For India Legends, Abhimanyu Mithun and Yusuf Pathan picked two wickets each, while leg-break bowler Rahul Sharma  picked one wicket.

Rain has stopped the match on Wednesday and the play has been called. However, the action will resume from the same point tomorrow at 03:30 pm (IST).
