The ongoing third one-day international between India Women and England Women at the iconic Lord's is a special game for couple of reason for the Women in Blue. While Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. will look to write history by winning the game and registering their maiden clean sweep on English soil, the game is also a final appearance of India's prolific right-arm pacer Jhulan Goswami.

The 39-year-old is currently the world's leading wicket-taker across all formats and regarded as the one of the Greatest of All Time to play the game. While Goswami missed an ultimate glory five years ago when Team India lost the 2017 World Cup final at Lord's, the veteran pacer is part of an historic series win in England, India's first in the country in 23 years.

But ahead of the start of the third and final ODI, Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur who admires the legendary pacer was seen in tears when Jhulan Goswami was handed memento. In a video which is going viral on social media, Indian team was seen honoring Jhulan Goswami with a memento, when Indian skipper broke into tears in the huddle. Goswami was later seen hugging and consoling the Indian captain. Check out the video.

Earlier, Kaur admitted that she wanted to win the series to dedicate a perfect tribute to the legendary Indian pacer Jhulan Goswami. “She has been a terrific servant to Indian cricket. She has carried the responsibilities of Indian women cricket for more than a decade. Winning the series will only be a fitting tribute to Jhulan di,” she earlier said on the side-lines of India vs England three-match ODI series.

Speaking of the match, Team India had a troublesome start to their innings as they lost four quick wickets. After England invited Women in Blue to bat first, 30-year-old right-arm medium pacer Kate Cross rattled India's top-order as she dismissed Shafali Verma (0 off 5) and Yastika Bhatia (0 off 2), skipper Harmanpreet Kaur. However, Smriti Mandhana and Deepti are currently trying to steady India's innings.
