Rohit Sharma-led Team India is aiming to seal three-match T20I series against South Africa as both sides are engaging in the second match of the bilateral contest. After Men in Blue were invited to bat first, Team India got a flying start to their innings as the skipper Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul wasted no opportunity to punish South African bowlers

While Indian openers came out in the middle hoping to provide a solid foundation to their side, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma escaped what could have been a major injury ahead of the highly anticipated T20 World Cup in Australia. It was the second over of the match when Rohit shaped up for a scoop off Wayne Parnell, but the ball got deflected off the batter's glove over the wicketkeeper and cross the boundary line.

The Indian skipper appeared to be in immense pain as he was seen clutching his left wrist as the Indian physio was out to check him. After consuming the prescribed pain killer and a few minutes of chit-chat with the physio, Rohit Sharma looked well to resume his game.

After a short pause, Rohit looked to cash in the powerplay and played some elegant strokes in the ongoing fixture in Guwahati.
