The Memphis Grizzlies had a comeback 118-114 victory over the New York Knicks on their home court. The Grind City is currently second in the western conference with a two-game winning streak and has emerged as a new contender. But the biggest boost to the Memphis ascent has been guard Ja Morant’s breakout season.
The 22-year-old has been averaging a career-high 27.1 points with 5.8 rebounds and 6.7 assists. Morant also made his first All-star game as a starter for Team Durant in the All-star game in Cleveland. Former MVP and Hall of Famer Allen Iverson has even touted him as a future MVP.
But alongside incredible stats, Morant has been a fan favourite for his out of the world
Dunks, buzz beaters and crossovers etc. Similarly, the 2019 Rookie of the year had another mind-bending highlight against the Knicks.

Morant was on the fast break as he went past Immanuel Quickly who fouled him in the process with behind the back between the legs move. Then he completed the play with a ferocious two-handed dunk.
In the fourth quarter, the Grizzlies were down 106-105 with 3:54 left where Morant scored 10 straight points to put Memphis up 115-108 with less than a minute to play. The Grizzlies held on despite foul shooting issues at the end. Ja ended the game with team-high 37 points with four rebounds and eight assists.
