South Africa’s veteran all-rounder Jacques Kallis, who is considered one of the greatest all-rounders of all time, retired in 2014. But he is currently in the United States, playing for the California Knights, in the US Masters T10 League, where he smashed an amazing half-century in just 17 deliveries against the Texas Chargers in a knockout match.

He opened the innings for the Knights alongside Aussie batsman Aaron Finch in the first innings. He let loose as soon as he arrived on the pitch and smashed a huge six to Sohail Tanvir on the sixth ball he faced. He had lost his partner, Aaron Finch, in the second over of the game. He was then joined by Milind Kumar, who complimented him excellently. Both of them ripped the Chargers’ bowling attack apart and made a 96-run partnership in just 36 balls. Kallis brought up his fifty in the seventh over off just 17 balls, after which Kumar got out in the eighth over too.

Kallis made sure that he stayed till the end and took his team to a respectable total of 139 in just 10 overs. The 47-year-old youngster’s knock consisted of six sixes and just two fours. He dominated Sohail Tanvir, as he scored three sixes and a four off his bowling.
