England are currently on a tour of the Netherlands where they will be playing as many as 3 ODIs. While the Three Lions posted a record-shattering 498 in the first ODI of the three-match series, the second ODI has been reduced to 41 overs a side and the tourists will have to chase in this game after clinching the series openers by 232 runs.
Before the start of the match, England players Jason Roy and Jos Buttler were felicitated as the fixture marks an important milestone in their respective careers. While this is the 100th ODI for Roy, for Buttler who has been in sensational form lately, this is his 150th ODI in England colours.
Both of them received their caps in a team huddle before the start of the match. Roy had his wife and daughter along with him when he received his cap from Moeen Ali and planted a kiss on his daughter's cheek as his teammates applauded. Later, captain Eoin Morgan handed the cap to Buttler.

At the toss, England captain Morgan said that they are happy to chase in this fixture. "We’re happy to chase with the rain, will give us time to assess the conditions. Great day for two of our main players - Jason Roy and Jos Buttler (playing their 100th and 150th ODI game). The message from our side is always to keep the intensity for as long as we can. We’re never chasing figures or records," the World Cup-winning skipper added.
In addition, he confirmed one change to his side for this fixture with Brydon Carse replacing Sam Curran.
