The NBA 2022-23 regular season is back after a week's break for the All-Star Weekend and Thursday night was full of action as Joel Embiid and James Harden combined for 58 points to help Philadelphia 76ers beat Ja Morant's Memphis Grizzlies 110-105 at the Wells Fargo Center. The game was a wild one as Sixers center Embiid was involved in an heated argument with Grizzlies forward Dillon Harper during the game.

With less than 10 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. fouled Sixers forward Tobias Harris and things got heated as Embiid and Brooks exchanged words and shoved each other. Philadelphia overcame a 17-point deficit to hand Memphis their eighth straight road game defeat.
During the last minutes into the game, the 76ers, who were trailed by four points, registered a 10-1 run to win the match. With just 38.4 seconds remaining, Harris scored a three-pointer to give the Sixers a one-point advantage. The Sixers eventually extended their lead in the final seconds while Embiid and Brooks received technical fouls after a small altercation.

For the 76ers, Embiid finished with 27 points, 19 rebounds, six assists and six blocks while guard James Harden posted a game-high 31 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. On the other hand, Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane registered team-high 25 points and eight rebounds while Ja Morant failed to deliver as he scored 15 points in 32 minutes with 3-of-13 from the field.
