The much anticipated SA20 League is finally underway. The first match is being played between MI Cape Town and Paarl Royals. After winning the toss, MICT skipper Rashid Khan gave much delight to fans as he announced the return of Jofra Archer. Notably, the England pacer last played competitive cricket in 2021. The 2019 World Cup winner was one of the rising pacers in the world when the injury forced him out of cricket for a long period of time. However, the pacer made a stunning comeback in the first match of SA20.
The MI Cape Town pacer picked a wicket in his very first over. Archer got rid of Wihan Lubbe in the third ball of his over. The England pacer went on to bowl a perfect wicket maiden over and showed why he was missed by fans.
