England white-ball captain Jos Buttler is well-known for his batting prowess. The swashbuckling batter possesses the ability to destroy top-quality bowling attacks when he is on the song. Buttler is also known for his wide range of shots. He can hit anywhere, from right above the bowlers’ head to right over the wicketkeeper. The wicketkeeper batter can also bring out occasional reverse-batted shots.

However, no one has seen Buttler bat like a left-handed batter. Nevertheless, the England captain fulfilled this wish of his fans too as he batted left-handed in the nets against Ben Stokes, ahead of the second T20I against Australia. Buttler was spotted training with all-rounder Ben Stokes where the English captain opted to bat like a southpaw. The batter looked in full control while he played a backfoot punch.

The video of Buttler batting left-handed was articulated on social media with his fans rejoicing at the moment.

England look to seal series

With only a few days left for the T20 World Cup 2022, Jos Buttler-led England have landed in the right place as they are playing against Australia in a three-match T20I series. The first of which took place on 9 October and was won by England. The second T20I is set to be played on Wednesday (12 October) and England will look to seal the series. But the focus will be more on getting things right for the big event.

England were clinical in the first match with Alex Hales continuing his good form in the shortest format. Hales made good use of his experience of playing on Australian pitches and scored a 51-ball 84. Captain Jos Buttler also scored a half-century and was quick as a rabbit in his inning. However, England faced some issues with their bowling as they almost conceded the total scored by their team. Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid leaked runs.
