It's turning out to be a riveting encounter between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals at the Dr Dy Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. While Rajasthan batted first and scored 193, in response, Tilak Varma and Ishan Kishan's half-centuries kept Mumbai Indians in the game.

However, later a few wickets in quick succession brought Rajasthan back into the match. Yuzvendra Chahal almost picked up a hat-trick. While he caught Tim David out LBW in the first ball of the 16th over, in the second ball, Daniel Sams tried to go for the big shot but Jos Buttler produced a magical catch to get rid of Daniel Sams for a duck. Buttler, who was positioned at the cover, ran backwards towards the mid-off area and later had to put in a dive forward to complete the catch.

Check out the video of Buttler's efforts here:

In the very next ball, Chahal induced an edge off M Ashwin but Karun Nair dropped it in the slip. While Chahal and Nair were later seen sharing a hug, the dropped catch didn't cost RR much as they nonetheless managed to beat Mumbai Indians to stay unbeaten in the competition.

A couple of wins, as well as a strong net run rate of +2.100, means the Men in Pink have taken the top spot early in the competition while MI are placed at the ninth position in the points table with no victory against their credit.
