The Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp lost his wedding ring briefly at Anfield during Liverpool’s victory celebration after they defeated Newcastle United by 4-2 in the Premier League. The 56-year-old looked around the ground for his wedding ring without any luck until the cameraman seemed to find it before pointing him in the right direction to take possession of it.

Upon picking up the wedding ring from the ground, Jurgen Klopp looked quite relieved before he kissed it in front of the camera, and smiled gleefully while reeling off. Known for his usual fist pump celebration after his team has a successful day on the football pitch, the German nearly had a massive slip up not only in his professional but personal life.

Notably, this isn’t the first time when Jurgen Klopp has lost his wedding ring, admitting it in the post-match chat to the reporters. He was quoted as saying, “I lost it once and I needed a professional diver because I lost it in the sea.”
“From time to time (it happens) when I lose one or two kilos. I was too lively and I lost it and I had a massive shock. The cameraman annoyed me quite a few times this season but now he has a lot of shots free because that was really important,” he added.
Moreover, Liverpool had one of the best attacking games in the Premier League in recent memory against a very decent Newcastle United team at the Anfield. Despite conceding the two soft goals to Alexander Isak and Sven Botman in the second half, it was Mohamed Salah’s brace, along with Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo scoring once each, which allowed Liverpool to get the better of Newcastle United.
