The Super 12 stage of T20 World Cup 2021 kicked off on Saturday with a low-scoring thriller between Australia and South Africa in Abu Dhabi. It was an afternoon game and after being asked to bat first, the Proteas looked short of answers to some brilliant bowling from Australia as they were restricted to 118/9 in 20 overs.

Although everyone was expecting it to be walk in park for Aaron Finch's side, things did not really pan out the same way in second innings. The Aussie top order were back to the pavilion in no time and the score read 38/3 in 7.5 overs. Despite being put in a very tricky situation, Australian coach Justin Langer looked very calm and quiet sitting in the dug-out.

Hilarious moment between Langer and Maxwell

However, as Australia started to pave their way back into the contest, Langer started to show more emotions. But what the 50-year-old actually did towards the final stages of match literally left everyone in splits.

As the Kangaroos were getting closer towards hunting down the target, there was visible excitement in the Aussie dug-out. In a hilarious incident, Justin Langer got so carried away while applauding his side that he pushed Glenn Maxwell, with the all-rounder dramatically losing his balance.

The 50-year-old certainly enjoyed the match as well as the moment as he gave a cheeky smile after knocking out Maxwell, much to the amusement of everyone.

In the end, Marcus Stoinis (24* off 16) played the role of finisher to perfection as he kept his nerves to take his side home in the final over, with 2 balls remaining.
