Bollywood and cricket have been linked together for ages now and stars from both these worlds are often intertwined on multiple public platforms. One such collaboration was seen during the ongoing coverage of the T2 0 World Cup in Australia. On Star Sports, the cast of the upcoming film ‘Phone Bhooth’ featuring Katrina Kaif, Ishan Khatter and Sidhant Chaturvedi were present.
During this segment, Katrina Kaif was batting against former Indian players Aakash Chopra and Harbhajan Singh. The actor struggled for the first few balls but soon found her rhythm and greeted the former off-spinner for some big hits. The video of the incident has since gone viral.

Moving back to cricket, Bangladesh kicked off the day by defeating the in-form Zimbabwe team in a game which had a controversial end. The Bangla Tigers were led by Najmul Hossain Shanto’s maiden half-century which weathered a difficult start. Later Afif Hossain and captain Shakib al Hasan also played a few crucial knocks as Bangladesh registered 150 runs in their 20 overs.
Then in the second innings, the Bangladeshi bowlers had some moments but managed to pull through for a victory. Then in the second game of the day, Pakistan stream-rolled the Netherlands and registered a dominant six-wicket win. Their bowlers were the stars of the show as they restricted the Dutch at 91-9. In the second innings, the Pakistani batters didn’t have a comfortable chase but pulled through with Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan.
