Khushdil Shah took a while to clear the stumps to run Anamul Haque out during match number 31 of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025 between Durbar Rajshahi and Rangpur Riders at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. During the 17th over of Durbar Rajshahi’s innings Akbar Ali and Anamul Haque were engaged in a terrible mix-up. After patting Akif Javed’s delivery to leg side, Ali called for a run which led to an immediate response from Anamul who reached the striker’s end in no time.
However, after observing that the ball hadn't gone so far, Akbar Ali decided to get back to striker's end as both the batters ended up on the same end. After that, Khushdil Shah, who was standing just next to the stumps with a ball in his hand, teased Anamul Haque before he actually connected the ball with stumps to run him out.
