Virat Kohli has been away from the Indian team as he was on a break to spend time with his family and he made the most of it by visiting the Vrindavan Ashram. Kohli travelled to the shrine with his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika. The family took blessings at the Ashram of Shri Hita Premanandji in Mathura. The trip was more important for Kohli as he is set to be on India duty during Vamika’s birthday on January 11.

Kohli and Anushka Sharma were at the Baba Neem Karoli Ashram in Vrindavan for about an hour and had a ‘darshan’ of Baba’s ‘samadhi’ and also meditated in a ‘kutia’ (hut). Kohli and his family also made some of their fans happy by signing autographs and posing for photographs. The Kohli family also donated blankets at the ashram, as per reports.

A video of Anushka and Virat with their daughter has gone viral as they sought blessings from the baba. A devotee came forward and wrapped a ‘chunni’ (cloth) around Anushka Sharma. After spending some time at the Baba Neem Karoli Ashram, the family left for the Maa Anandamayi Ashram.
