Before anyone could fully realize what was about to go down, the shoving from Kris Dunn and Jabari Smith Jr led to them squaring up before throwing wild punches at each other, which fortunately didn’t clock either of them. The teammates, staff, and officials had to rush towards Dunn and Smith on court, to separate them before the situation turned into a big mess.

Both Kris Dunn and Jabari Smith Jr were ejected from the game shortly after. Moreover, despite missing their star forward for the majority of the night, along with center Alperen Sengun, who has been ruled out due to injury, the Houston Rockets registered a straightforward win over the Utah Jazz.

While Smith didn’t speak about the incident in the post-match, Kris Dunn shared his side of the story and said, “We exchanged a couple of words, a couple of pushes and we were expelled. “I take responsibility for my actions and whatever the league decides for me, I have to respect.”
