After losing their first NBA preseason game against Sacramento Kings by a massive 30-point lead, Los Angeles Lakers faced yet another defeat against Phoenix Suns on Thursday morning. However, Lakers star LeBron James recorded decent numbers and pulled off some impressive baskets in the game.

Despite leading the game by seven points at the end of the second quarter, Lakers lost to Suns 115-119 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Lakers with 42.7 per cent led Suns (37.1 per cent) in the Field Goal percentage while both the teams recorded similar 3-point percentage as they made 13 three-pointers in 41 attempts.

LeBron James, who will mark his 20th year in the NBA this season, displayed an all-round performance by scoring 23 points with the help of three 3-pointers. James also managed four assists and three rebounds in his 17 minutes of appearance. During the first half of the game, LeBron James recorded an iconic one-legged three-pointer to everyone's delight.

Apart from LeBron James, Kendrick Nun scored 21 points with four three-pointers. Nun also made two assists and three rebounds while Russell Westbrook (12 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists) also displayed impressive performances but couldn't help Lakers to win the NBA preseason clash against Phoenix Suns.

On the other side, Devin Booker (22) scored the most points for Suns as he scored three 3-pointers. Chris Paul scored 13 points and made 10 assists while Landry Shamet (21) and Jock Landale (14) were also impressive in Phoenix Suns' victory.
