Los Angeles Lakers registered their first NBA preseason victory against Golden State Warriors on Monday and faced a 113-118 defeat in their next game against Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. However, Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis displayed their class at the Crypto.com Arena.
Minnesota Timberwolves are unbeaten in the preseason with four wins in their four outings as they continued their top form against the Lakers. Timberwolves managed an eight-point lead at the end of the first half and maintained their composure throughout the game.
Although LA Lakers lost their fourth of the five games in the NBA Preseason, the fans had a delightful sight of watching their favorite players getting back into the rhythm as LeBron James and Anthony Davis combined for 44 points and 24 rebounds. While James recorded 25 points, 11 rebounds and three assists, Davis scored 19 points and made 13 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.

Apart from LeBron and Davis, Lonnie Walker (12) and Patrick Beverley (10) also displayed decent performances but couldn't help Lakers to get their second successive win. On the other hand, Naz Reid (22 points, 13 rebounds) D'Angelo Russell (15 points, 8 assists) and Luka Garza (15 points, 4 rebounds) displayed tremendous performances to help their side secure a win against Lakers and maintain their winning streak.
