British-Belgian F1 driver Lando Norris has brought out a special helmet for the Singapore Grand Prix. His action was part of a crossover with one of the biggest video-gaming franchises, Halo, as he will be sporting a Master Chief-inspired helmet.

The helmet has been created as part of a collaboration between Lando Norris’ esports team, Quadrant, and the Halo Championship Series. HCS is the major tournament circuit for Halo Infinite which has been backed by Microsoft and developer 343 Industries. Quadrant was founded by Norris and has some of the best Halo Infinite players in the world.

Norris has extremely elated with Quadrant’s partnership with Halo as he said, “It’s really exciting for us to announce that we’ve become a partnered team in Halo. The whole team has worked incredibly hard to get to this stage, and I’m really proud of the success our roster has had this season.”

Full Squad Gaming member Jake Lucky posted a video with Lando unveiling his new helmet. The video was captioned, “EXCLUSIVE: @Quadrant has officially joined Halo's HCS and @LandoNorris will be repping a custom-made Halo Master Chief Helmet for the upcoming F1 Singapore Grand Prix.”

Talking about the ongoing season, Norris recently signed a long-term contract with McLaren until 2026. But this extension hasn’t resulted in a positive boost as the British team has made a step back after showing promise this season. Norris has been struggling in the lower midfield positions.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, he praised Max Verstappen as one of F1’s fastest ever but also raised concerns over the fact that he hasn’t been able to compete with him on track. “It’s frustrating at times,” he admitted. “Because you feel like you deserve more at certain periods, no matter how much hard work you put in. You have a guy that can have the easiest race and chill the whole race and win a race, and then there’s you sweating, having the hardest race of your life and P8.”
