The five-time champions, Mumbai Indians (MI) have finally got a sigh of relief after they registered their maiden win of IPL 2024. The Hardik Pandya-led side defeated the Delhi Capitals (DC) by 29 runs at their home turf in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and jumped to eighth spot in the IPL 2024 standings.

However, the side will aim to continue their winning streak as they take on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Thursday, April 11 at the Wankhede Stadium. Ahead of the clash, the MI members are training hard and an instance of the same was visible in a video shared by the franchise on social media. The MI bowlers were seen performing target-hitting drills alongside their bowling coach Lasith Malinga.

With Malinga asking the bowlers, including Arjun Tendulkar to hit the stumps, all of them fail to hit on the sole stump. But soon afterwards, it was the former Sri Lanka bowler who starred hitting right on the target. The MI took to social media to hare this moment and captioned the post, “Kuch nahi badla yaar. Aaj bhi sab kuch vaise ka vaisa hi hain”.

It is to be noted that despite his retirement from professional cricket, Malinga’s accuracy showcases his sharp skills with the ball.
