After going down, 2-1 against a lowly ES Troyes AC, Paris Saint Germain was brought into the game by a magical strike by Lionel Messi. The Argentine maestro received the ball at the top of the box as Sergio Ramos attempted to switch play from wing to wing and launched the ball through four ESTAC defenders to score a scintillating goal.

As the ball left Messi’s feet, it cruised through the defence and beamed straight into the right bottom corner. Celebrating the goal, the former Barcelona star pumped the air in excitement as the Parisians got back into the game. This was Messi’s seventh goal of the season in Paris after a rough previous season.

Soon after scoring this screamer, Messi assisted his longtime friend Neymar Jr. who gave PSG a 3-2 lead in the game. The seven-time Ballon D’or found the Brazilian from the middle of the pitch as no Troyes closed out on him. The ball reached Neymar with no problem and then made a short journey into the right corner.

This goal was the Brazilian star’s ninth goal along with his eight assists in the PSG jersey. The Parisians doubled their lead to 4-2 thanks to Kylian Mbappe’s penalty in the 77th minute as Troyes player brought down a PSG midfielder inside the box. The Frenchman then made no mistake from the spot and slotted the ball into the right corner.
