American women's wrestler Liv Morgan attacked the Wrestlemania 40 champion Rhea Ripley backstage after the conclusion of the event on Monday. As the Australian professional went backstage after retaining the WWE Raw crown, Morgan attacked her with chairs and kicks.

Morgan and Ripley were once part of the same team known as “Liv 4 Brutality.” But, the current WWE Raw champion separated herself from the tag team and eventually collaborated with The Judgement Day in what will be regarded as a career-defining move.

In the finals after being crowned the RAW champion, Morgan set her sights on Ripley as she engaged with her in a backstage brawl. The former Smackdown Women’s champion threw a chair at Ripley first before plundering punches and kicks to the Women’s World Champions.

Ripley retain WWE Women’s World Championship in Wrestlemania 40

In the Wrestlemania 40 game last weekend, Rhea Ripley secured a hard-fought win over Becky Lynch to retain the WWE Women’s World Championship title. Against the jam-packed crowd, the two players tore into each other as they hit each other with multitudes of high spots and various falls on each other.

Ripley managed to weather the onslaught by Lynch who connected with Manhandle slam followed by The Eradicator performing the Riptide and putting her into turnbuckles to eventually retain her crown.
