Logan Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, has won his first championship in WWE after getting the better of the Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio at the Crown Jewel PLE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. On Saturday, November 4, the 28-year-old became the new United States Champion after pinning the masked luchador, just a year after coming up short against Roman Reigns in the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match at the same event.

At Mohammed Abdu Arena, Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio put on a show in front of the Saudi fans during an epic WWE United States Championship match. Some of impressive moves from Paul included a Buckshot Lariat, a fallaway slam from the top rope, while Mysterio delivered his usual array of offensive moves, but the young upstart used the brass knuckles to end the contest, garnering more heat than ever before in the WWE.

During this championship match, Logan Paul created a viral moment, while preventing Rey Mysterio from a potential career-threatening injury. As the Hall of Famer flew in the sky for his next move, he was destined to land on the mat head first, until the Maverick caught him in mid-air to protect him from a serious fall.

Moreover, in the main event of the WWE Crown Jewel, Roman Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for the umpteenth time after pinning LA Knight, thanks to the assist of the Bloodline member Jimmy Uso. The Greatest of All Time John Cena received a savage beating from the other member of the Bloodline Solo Sikoa.

Cody Rhodes defeated the Mr. Money in the Bank and one half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Damien Priest. Seth Rollins successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre.

Rhea Ripley brushed aside the challenge of Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Raquel Rodriguez in a fatal 5-way match to defend her Women’s World Championship. Also, Iyo Sky retained her WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair, with the help from the returning Kairi Sane.
