On Sunday, April 27, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be taking on hosts Mumbai Indians (MI) in an afternoon match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Ahead of the big clash, LSG posted a hype video where their mentor Zaheer Khan was alongside MI pacer Arjun Tendulkar, the son of Sachin Tendulkar, and they captained the video, “Lessons today, legends tomorrow.”

Notably, Indian legend Zaheer Khan, who bowled left-arm pace, was a part of MI for a few seasons in the IPL, playing the final of the 2010 season against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), which they lost, but not before he took 15 wickets in 14 matches. After retiring from active professional cricket a few years ago, Zaheer Khan has been a commentator, and now, he has joined LSG as the mentor, sharing his knowledge and expertise about fast bowling to their bowlers in particular.

Amidst all that, Zaheer Khan took some time to talk with left-arm fast bowler Arjun Tendulkar of MI, giving him valuable tips ahead of his team LSG’s battle against them. The short video of the interaction between the legend and the prodigy was recorded and shared by the LSG social media team on their official X account, adding to the hype surrounding Arjun Tendulkar.

Yograj Singh wants Arjun Tendulkar to switch his focus from bowling to batting

While Arjun Tendulkar has been a bowler for the majority of his young career, he has shown moments wherein his batting has also shown through in domestic cricket. Yograj Singh, the father of Indian legend Yuvraj Singh, recently stated that if his son gets three months with Arjun Tendulkar, the latter would become the next Chris Gayle in cricket, basically wanting the youngster to switch his attention from bowling to batting.

Moreover, after winning their last four matches in the IPL 2025, MI are on a high, and they will be looking to get the better of LSG in the upcoming clash, to create a gap between them in the points table.
