Suarez unimpressed with Barcelona’s performance against Frankfurt

The recent quarter-finals of the Europa League 2022 between Barcelona and Frankfurt ended as a draw with both teams scoring a single goal. The former Barcelona star Luis Suarez spoke on Barcelona’s average performances in the game and asked youngsters to do better.

“Luckily Frankfurt are an average club because they could have put three or four past us,” he grumbled. “It was an inexplicable game, nothing went well and nobody reacted. On top of not running, they didn’t play and that is very serious. It seems like youngsters aren’t taking control, they need to take the initiative more.”
