Inter Miami star Luis Suarez got furious after being denied a hat-trick in a Major League Soccer (MLS) clash against Orlando City. The Uruguayan striker opened his account in the league during Miami’s third clash of the season, where Lionel Messi-led side registered a 5-0 victory. The former Barcelona striker netted his first goal in the fourth minute of the game, after getting a neat pass from midfielder Julian Gressel.
However, this wasn’t it and he once again found the net in the 11th minute, when he brushed past a defender, leading to a goal. It extended Miami’s lead to 2-0 before he teed up Taylor to tap the third goal for the home side. Just before the half-hour mark, Miami midfielder Julian Gressel played a through ball to Suarez, who was behind the defense. However, rather than scoring the goal for his hat-trick, Suarez laid the ball to Taylor, who converted the goal with a seamless tap-in to make it 3-0.
Later before halftime, Suarez seized the opportunity to score a monumental hat-trick. However, the achievement was short-lived due to an offside call that ruled what could have been Inter Miami’s fourth goal. This didn’t go well with Suraez and he lost his temper; but before things could get heated, players from his side intervened and took him away.
Talking about the match, Lionel Messi continued his dominance and showcased his trademark skills to score two more goals for his side. Messi scored the goal from a rebound off the crossbar from a Jordi Alba effort. Later, Suarez set up Messi for his second goal of the game with a perfect goal to take the side to a notable win.
