Former Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova and men’s world no.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic have enjoyed a healthy friendship over the years. The two stars have come together on a number of occasions and it has always been fun watching the chemistry between them. A similar collaboration between Djokovic and Sharapova made headlines for its uniqueness.
The two tennis stars were made to compete against each other in a completely unique challenge. The first challenge for them was to play bowling using a tennis racquet and ball while in the second challenge, Djokovic and Sharapova were made to play golf with tennis equipment.

Djokovic wins bowling, Sharapova takes golf challenge
Coming to the individual performances of both players in two unique challenges, the Serbian tennis star won the bowling challenge while Sharapova took home the golf course challenge. Both contestants were given three chances to score all ten pins in one shot in the bowling challenge.
Sharapova tried first but could only score half of the pins in her first attempt. She scored rest of the pins in her second attempt but it was not counted as it took two shots. On the other hand, Djokovic missed the first shot but recovered brilliantly to score all ten pins in one shot and hence won the first challenge.
The second challenge took place at a golf course where both players had to put the tennis ball in the hole in one go. This time Djokovic went first and could only manage to score a Birdie in two attempts. Meanwhile, Sharapova did get it off target in her first attempt but she got an ace in her second attempt and hence won the second challenge.
Notably, Djokovic is currently in Italy competing in the Italian Open. Yesterday, the Serb overcame the challenge of Aslan Karatsev 6-3, 6-2 in the second round. He is looking for his first title this season and will face the match winner between Stanislas Wawrinka and Laslo Djere in the third round.
