Moeen Ali is an established name in the world of cricket. The English all-rounder is well famous for his abilities with the bat and the ball. Ali recently retired from Test cricket to give himself more game time in white-ball cricket and it seems to be working really fine for the English cricketer. Even though Ali has established himself as an all-rounder, he is more of a class batter.

Apart from spinning a web around batters, Ali loves to swing his bat and everything and wreak havoc. And he has succeeded in doing so in the recent past. When IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had announced Ali on their retention list, it was a bit of a shocker for everyone. But looking at Ali's exploits with the bat post-IPL 2021, the CSK management will be patting themselves on their back for such a brave decision. After smashing Windies bowlers in the five-match T20I series, Ali is wreaking havoc in the Bangladesh Premier League.

Playing for Comilla Victorians, Ali has played some explosive knocks and the latest one against Khulna Tigers was proof of what he is capable of doing to bowlers when he is on song. In the 27th match of the Bangladesh T20 league, Moeen Ali smashed 75 runs off 35 balls, at a strike rate of 214.29. He was only dealing in sixes as the leftie hit nine of them in his innings. Ali raced to his fifty in just 23 balls and had already hit six sixes before completing his fifty. He even went past the 5-run mark with a gigantic six.

On the back of his knock and some contribution from Liton Das and Faf du Plessis, Comilla Victorians put 188 on the board. They then bundled out Tigers for 123 to win the match by a massive 65 runs. Ali was named Player of the Match for his blistering knock.
