Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir did the famous ‘Jhukega Nahi’ step by Allu Arjun from the popular Telugu film Pushpa after dismissing Rohan Mustafa in match number 15 of the International League T20 (ILT20) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, January 22. Amir registered figures of 4/24 as Desert Vipers defeated Sharjah Warriors by 10 wickets. 

During the third over of Sharjah Warriors’ innings, Mohammad Amir bowled a good length against Rohan Mustafa. Trying to flick away the ball, Mustafa ended up mistiming the ball as Sam Curran made no mistake in completing the catch at covers. After the wicket, Amir did a famous step from the Pushpa movie in celebration. 

Desert Vipers register 5th win in ILT20 2025

Talking about the match, the table toppers defeated Sharjah Warriors by 10 wickets to register their fifth win in the ongoing ILT20 2025. Batting first, Sharjah Warriors were bowled out for just 91 runs in 19.1 overs. Mohammed Amir shone with the figures of 4/24, while Wanindu Hasaranga scalped three, Sam Curran scalped two and David Payne put one in his bag. Jason Roy turned out to be a top scorer for the Warriors with a steady knock of 30*(34) runs hitting two boundaries. 

Chasing the winning target, Fakhar Zaman went on to smash 79*(39) runs hitting seven fours and four sixes, while Alex Hales remained unbeaten on 23*(21) runs with two fours and a six as Desert Vipers scored 95 runs in just 10 overs without losing any wicket. With this, Desert Vipers are now at the top of the points table with five wins in six matches. On the other hand, Sharjah Warriors are struggling at the fifth spot with two wins and three losses from five matches in ILT20 2025 so far.
