India are currently touring South Africa for a multi-format series. While the first T20I of the three-match T20I series was called off due to persistent rain, the second match saw South Africa dominate India at the St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Tuesday, 12 December. With one more match left for the T20I series to conclude, the action will then shift to the ODI series.
The three-match ODI series will see some new faces, star Indian bowler and highest wicket-taker of ODI World Cup 2023, Mohammad Shami will mark his return in the two-match Test series, along with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. However, the pacer’s availability will remain subject to fitness.
The 33-year-old Indian pacer, who is currently training at his farmhouse, in his latest post was seen maintaining the ground as he gets himself ready for the South Africa Test series. The cricketer was seen watering the ground with the caption reading, “Maintenance”.
