A once in a lifetime moment occurred during a T20 match in Afghanistan as Mohammad Nabi was seen bowling to his own son Hassan Eisakhil. In a Shpageeza Cricket League clash between Amo Region and Mis Ainak Region, Nabi played for Mis Ainak Region while his son played for Amo Region. During the match, the spectators also got to see a face off between father and son when Mohammad Nabi came to bowl while Hassan Eisakhil was batting.
Batting against his father, Eisakhil went on to smash a six off the very first ball off ninth over by Mohammad Nabi. The 40-year-old went on to concede 12 runs in that over. Overall, it turned out to be a good outing for Eisakhil as he scored 52 runs off 36 balls in that game. With the help of his knock and 45(36) runs by Shahidullah, Amo Region posted 162 runs losing 10 wickets in 19.4 overs. For Mis Ainak Region, Naveed Zadran registered figures of 4/21, while Khali Gurbaas took three scalps.
Mohammad Nabi finishes with six as Mis Ainak win by 5 wickets
The total 162 runs wasn’t enough for Amo Region as Mis Ainak comfortably chased the target of 163 runs in 17 overs and went on to win by five wickets. Chasing the target, Khalid Taniwal and Wafiullah Stanikzai Tarakhil put up an opening partnership of 92 runs in just 6.4 overs. Tarakhil got out after scoring 49(21) runs while Taniwal top scored with 56 runs off 27 balls hitting five fours and four sixes.
Along with that, skipper Rahmanullah Gurbaz also scored 28(20) runs taking the game away from Amo Region. Afsar Zazai also remained unbeaten on a run-a-ball 14 runs while Mohammed Nabi finished the game with a six as Mis Ainak Region won the match with three overs remaining.
