Australia had a great outing on Day 1 of the fourth Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2022-23 as the visitors ended the day’s play with a massive 255/4 on the board. Usman Khawaja has led Australia’s charge with a century (104*) while he has Cameron Green (49*) aiding him from the other end. The entire day’s play was mostly about Australian batters dominating the Indian bowlers but there were a few cheerful moments for the hosts as well.

One of those moments was when Mohammed Shami dismissed Peter Handscomb with a magical delivery. The India pacer sent Handscomb’s off-stump for a cartwheel and it was a sight to behold. The ball was bowled on a good length and it straightened off the deck. Handscomb was caught on the back foot to defend it but got beaten on the outside edge and the ball crashed into the stumps. With the sheer pace behind that delivery, the off-stump went cartwheeling.

As the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared the video on their official Twitter handle, fans shared their reactions. While some were just in awe of Shami’s skills, some went on to call him a “beast”.
