Royal Challengers Bangalore fast bowler Mohammed Siraj was seen abusing a fellow teammate  Mahipal Lomror after a missed run out against Rajasth an Royals. After getting extremely close to chasing the target, the Royals fell short in the final over and suffered a seven-run loss.

On the last ball of the 19th over,  RR tried to steal a second run after  Dhruv Jurel hit away Siraj's short ball. After completing a single,  Ashwin was running to the danger end and was out of his crease.

But after receiving an awkward throw, Siraj broke the stumps with his leg before he had the ball in hand. As the bails were, Siraj needed to completely uproot the stumps but failed to do so and hence the batter was deemed not out.

Then in the last over, 20 runs to win which were comfortably defended by fast bowler Harshal Patel, who also managed to pick up a wicket. With this victory, RCB now has two back-to-back wins and is placed fifth on the table with eight points in seven games.

Reacting to this win, Mohammad Siraj spoke about how he sticks to his role of picking wickets with the new ball. He then talked about focusing on bowling scrambled seam deliveries as the ball wasn't swinging a lot.

He said, "I accept any challenge. My role is going well, wickets with the new ball and the ball is coming out of the hand nicely. One ball swung in the first over when it swung into Jaiswal, then concentrated on my scrambled seam as I trust that. There was a bit of reverse and it is not easy to hit sixers off the reverse on a hard length. I'm very happy with the responsibility of leading the attack."
