Dhoni has been enjoying his time during IPL 2024 ever since he handed over the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad further leading to speculation about his possible retirement.
Across the first two games of the 2024 season, Dhoni hasn't made a massive impact as he has been involved in the action as a wicketkeeper. But away from the field, Dhoni has been enjoying life and a glimpse of this was seen after the game against Gujarat.

As the players from both teams got together for the customary post-match greetings, Dwayne Bravo was seen congratulating Gaikwad, who walking ahead of MS Dhoni. Then as the former Indian captain neared Bravo, Dhoni jokingly attempted to hit the CSK bowling coach around the groin.

Coming back to the game, the Chennai Super Kings posted a massive 206-run total on the back of a blistering 51 in 23 balls with two fours and five sixes by Shivam Dube. Talking about his performance, Dube shared how the Super Kings have given him the freedom to play his natural game and win matches.
In the post-match interview, Dube said, "This franchise is different from all others. This franchise is giving me the freedom and I also want to win some matches for them. I worked in that way as well - it is helping me, I know they are going to bowl short balls and I'm ready for that. They want me to go on a higher strike rate and I want to do that."
