After Shubman Gill's incredible century which helped Gujarat Titans beat Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians managed to qualify for the playoffs. Reacting to this qualification, the entire MI team, after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad, jumped up in joy as they were watching the RCB vs GT match.
Going back to the game in Bengaluru, the Royal Challengers posted a score of 197 on the back of a stunning Virat Kohli 100. Then with the ball, RCB managed to dismiss Wriddhiman Saha early before Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar posted a massive 123-run partnership. Despite the loss of two quick wickets, Shubhman Gill made sure that the Royal Challengers Bangalore are defeated and eliminated from the playoffs.
