Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim pulled off a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss Afghanistan's Ibrahim Zadran in the Asia Cup 2023. Batting first, Bangladesh posted a massive 334-run total on the back of centuries by Mehidy Hasan Miraz (113) and Najmul Hossain Shanto (104).

Chasing this mammoth target, Afghanistan got off to a poor start after losing Rahmanullah Gurbaz in the second over. But Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmat Shah steadied the innings by posting a crucial 79-run partnership. Soon after Shah's wicket, Zadran continued to score freely un. But in the 28th over, the Afghan opener edged a ball to Mushfiqur Rahim, who put in a full-stretch dive to complete a magical catch. Zadran was dismissed at 75 in 74 balls with 10 fours and one six.
