The Afghanistan cricket team etched history as they beat Pakistan for the first-time ever in international cricket on March 24 (Friday). The Rashid Khan-led side won their first match in international cricket history, beating Pakistan by six wickets.
But in an entertaining match, Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah was a victim of a bizarre incident. The opening T20I of the series saw Shah get hit wicket out. This took place on the fourth delivery of the 16 th over when he tried to swing full off Nabi’s length delivery. However, he lost the control of his bat and ended up hitting the stumps while finishing the shot in a comical way.

This dismissal not only left everyone on the field in awe, but Naseem Shah too looked disappointed with his silly yet comical hit wicket dismissal. Reaction of the same is going viral on social media.
Talking about the match, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. In their stipulated 20 overs, they could only manage to score 92 runs. Fazalhaq Farooqi, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mohammed Nabi were among the top wicket-takers for the side as they scalped two each. Nabi’s unbeaten knock of 38 then propelled the side to register their first-ever victory over the Men in Green as the Afghanistan batting lineup managed to chase the target in 17.5 overs.
