India fast bowler Navdeep Saini is having one-off his best times playing for Kent in the ongoing Royal London One-Day Cup. Saini was seen pulling out all the stops in his time at Kent as he pulled off a scoop shot like Jos Buttler in his recent List A match-up against Glamorgan.

The Spitfire started the game with a blow as Ben Compton got a golden duck but Joey Evison and Oliver Robinson steadied the ship and put up a 93-run partnership. Evison went on to score his maiden List A century along with half-centuries. Robinson and Alex Blake also helped Kent put a big score.

In the last over of the innings, Saini came into the middle and started his innings with a single and then on the last ball of the over, the Rajasthan Royals bowler pulled out his scoop shot. Kent’s Instagram account captioned the video saying, “A shot straight from @iplt20 ?.”

But unfortunately for the Spitfires, Glamorgan managed to pull off an incredible win thanks to a career knock by Colin Ingram, who put up 155 in 148 balls. After the match, Kent centurion Joey Evison talked about the team’s defeat and his maiden century.

“Obviously I’m bitterly disappointed not to come away with a win, but it has been a really pleasing day for me getting my first hundred in List A cricket and hopefully I can carry on and score as many runs as I can in this competition”, Evison said.

“Ingram played a terrific innings, one of the best I have seen in a long time, he really took the game away from us and Cullen batted really well too so it was one of those where you have to give credit to the batters. It was a good game of cricket, I thought. This is the fourth time I have played Glamorgan this year, it feels like I’m playing them every other week, but it is always nice to play in Cardiff”, he concluded.
