Indian batter Virat Kohli shared a heart-warming moment with Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq after their verbal spat in the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League. Playing at the Arun Jaitely Stadium in Delhi, the Men in Blue got off to an express start as they chased 273 with Rohit Sharma taking charge.

As the match progressed, Virat Kohli walked out after Ishan Kishan's wicket and fans started cheering the home town hero especially when he faced Naveen-ul-Haq. The duo were involved in a war of words as the Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow. 

Since that spat, the cricketing world has been going to town with Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq rivalry.  But ending this much-celebrated animosity, at the start of over number 27,  Naveen and Virat were spotted exchanging pleasantries. Duo shared a hug and then a pat on the back as both had a lovely smile.

Talking about the first inning, Afghanistan posted 272 runs with an incredible 80-run knock by  Hashmatullah Shahidi. Whereas for India, Jasprit Bumrah starred with a four-wicket spell.
