Ligue 1 club Angers registered their only second victory in the ongoing season after defeating OGC Nice 1-0 on Sunday in an away game. During the match, Nice center-back Jean-Clair Todibo received one of the fastest red card ever in the history of the game.

During the Ligue 1 Matchday 8, Nice hosted Angers at the Allianz Rivera and experienced a worst possible start into the game as their defender Todibo received a red car in the starting nine seconds of the game.

Angers kicked-off the game with some quick one-touch passing as their forward Abdallah Sima beat Todibo to enter the box but was fouled and brought down by the centre-back with a cynical foul. Referee showed straight red card to the defender who blocked a possible goal scoring opportunity.

Angers midfielder Nabil Bentaleb scored the first and only goal of the match two minutes before the halftime and took his team to a 1-0 lead on 10-men Nice. However, Angers forward Sofiane Boufal also received a 61' red card but the hosts couldn't produce an equaliser and came across a disappointing home defeat.

Meanwhile, Nice are currently placed 13th with just two wins in eight games and will face Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain on October 2 at the Parc des Princes. On the other side, Angers will host Marseille at the Stade Raymond Kopa on October 1.
